The DTEF ran their first “Big Mo” invitational tournament and clinic last month. Over 200 children participated in the two day clinic and tournament.
Former Davis cup star and founder of DTEF, Isaac Donkor, was there to make sure everything ran smoothly. Talking to the press isaac stated,” though the standard of Ghana tennis is still not high enough, I believe if we all come together we can achieve great things. Congratulations to Kingsley Amenuveve from Korle-Bu tennis club who defeated Jeff Frimpong 6-2 6-2 to win the boys singles.
U12 girls was won by Georgette who defeated Jemilatu Macculey 6-3, while Joeseph Tetteh beat home favorite David Ashinyo 6-2.
