Our tennis clinic was a huge success yesterday. The foundation had over 50 children on court playing games and drills. After a rain delay we couldn’t use the clay courts that had just had fresh lines painted on them because they were too soft so we had only two hard courts to use. We divided the two courts into ages and started up again. The kids had so much fun and were supplied with fruit, rice, chicken, plantain, salad, cookies and drinks throughout the day. Our coaches did a great job of keeping everyone involved and moving throughout the day.
Every child received a racket as well as either a T.shirt, shorts, shoes or hat. Due to the overwhelming support of our friends and family of clothing donations many children had more stuff than they could carry!! Our next clinic will be this week in Oboasi and the third will be in Wineba. Thank you to all who helped out!!!
