During one of our clinics in our second week, precious ( in the orange shirt) competed and won a game of “round the world”. Bearing in mind these children come from extreme poverty and have to struggle and fight for everything they have, when Isaac told him he had won a racket his reply was ” Mr Isaac, I already have a racket from last weeks clinic but my opponent doesn’t have one, you can give it to him”. Isaac was blown away by this.
This was a great example to all the other kids not to be greedy and that good manners, sharing and being kind to others pays off in life. This is something we have been preaching to the children from day one.
